Early on, Myde developed an interest in electronic music. The unique sound of 90s trance captivated him from a young age. In the early 2000s, he began to follow and collect the D.Trance Compilation. At that time, the focus was more on hard trance, but that would change over time. It was clear that he would one day seek a way to produce his own music and make it accessible to the world. A contest was announced for the 45th edition, with the goal of having a track featured on the upcoming release. He participated and managed to place THREE tracks on the 46th edition of the successful compilation.
The remarkable collaboration between Eckart Stamer (aka Bas van den Eijken) and Myde was so convincing that Myde took over the mixing and mastering of D.Trance starting from the 51st edition. Over 100 editions have already been produced, and we are curious to see how many more will come.
Over the years, there have been various releases on different labels. However, the most significant tracks in recent years have been released on Amsterdam Trance Records, Raz Nitzan Music, and Nocturnal Knights Music.
Perhaps the most important opportunity for single releases came to Myde through Raz Nitzan - the man who gives trance a voice. Since 2017, regular vocal trance songs have been released on Amsterdam Trance Records.
Currently, things have become a bit quieter because there is currently a lack of time for new productions. But, of course, there is no end in sight.
